Description

Add a new interior look to your Toyota 4Runner by installing TUFSKINZ Glove Box Accent Overlay. This piece adds style and protection to your vehicle and is fittingly positioned on the accent strip above the glove box.

Material Type

Domed (Raised 4mm) - Our Domed product line is our signature product. Each piece is manufactured with our 3-layer process that has been designed and tested to withstand all elements.

1ST LAYER - Superior UV Doming Resin that creates a high gloss, scratch resistant, durable finish.

2ND LAYER - Consists of a variety of substrates including our 100% Real Carbon Fiber, Chrome, Camouflage and Factory color matches to allow an array of custom options.

3RD LAYER - Utilizes our 3M Automotive Grade Adhesive that creates the perfect bond to the surface of the vehicle and makes the product installation an ease.

**Only Exception: Real Carbon Fiber (Raw) is Raised 1mm**

TUFSKINZ Glove Box Accent Overlay is designed to fit perfectly over the accent strip above the glove box area. Prep and installation can simply be completed within 10 minutes.

UPDATE. Why I am now giving 5 stars. It’s the service. No matter what, there is always a risk of defective products, bad shipping or some crazy fluke that can impact our purchase and we have all dealt with something before. What separates an average store/website to one that truly excels is the customer service. I can’t remember the last time anyone has ever responded to a review and offered to make it right. For me, customer service and satisfaction is half of the experience. Again, these overlays are simple adds, durable and look great. I do believe that you get what you pay for. I was hesitant buying these since they’re not cheap (quality never is) but I now know there is a good team backing this product so I feel very confident buying again. I actually have several pieces that I did not install after the first hiccup but my confidence level has gone up. I’m going to finish installing the other pieces and order the rest. Thanks again TUFSKINZ

UPDATED REVIEW. 3 STAR TO 5 STAR: Not quite perfect

I really want to like it. Great product…sort of. I like the concept. I like how it was manufactured which seems to be very durable. Color match is good. What I don’t like is that it doesn’t stick strong enough to the dash. If this was slightly smaller/narrower it would sit flat but being on a hump it naturally wants to unstick itself on the edges. I’m constantly having to push it back down. I’m not sure if I just got a bad piece and tape is not as strong.

Hi Jeb,

Thanks for leaving a review! If installed per our instructions, you should have no issues with the tape bonding as we use 3M Automotive Adhesive. If the area was not fully cleaned from things such as interior waxes/cleaning chemicals like Armor All or similar, this would cause the 3M tape to not be able to bond resulting in the part(s) peeling off. We would happy to get you a free replacement of the product if you can just cover the cost of shipping. To start this, reach out to us via email and we would be happy to set this up for you!
